Youth Ministry at Christ Church
Mission Statement
The CEC Youth Group seeks to create a Christ-centered community
out of response to the fierce, unconditional, life-changing love
offered us through Jesus our Redeemer.
Ephesians 4:15-16
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him
who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together
by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
Youth Group & Sunday School
*6th and 7th grade Sunday School meets with Charlie & Debbie Owen in the church in the room next to the kitchen
*8th grade Confirmation Class meets with Dave Johnson in the Magruder House (our office building across the street from the back of the church)
*High School Sunday School meets with Liz Edrington in the Magruder House
*Both Youth Groups meet on Sunday evenings from 6:45-8pm; Middle School Youth Group meets at the Magruder House and High School Youth Group meets downstairs in the Gibson Room
*Anyone is welcome to join up after the 5 o'clock service for dinner with us; just bring $5 and we'll eat together in Meade Hall!
